EADS Sogerma

Schenker: now extending its services for EADS with new cross docking and hub solutions.

Aeroparts, the SCHENKER’s aerospace specialized product is appointed by EADS for an original project of road shuttles with a hub and spoke concept.

EADS Sogerma was in a process of reeingineering its logistics and transport solutions for Aircrafts Repairs and EQTs, Airbus and ATR airframes (ailerons, flaps…), and after sales service (seats, cabin accessories…).

SCHENKER offered to reorganize the 4 Logisitcs sites of Roissy, Bordeaux, Rochefort and Toulouse. With 2 sites dedicaed to the repair management, EQT and After Sales, and 2 sites dedicated to production Logistics.

SCHENKER aeroparts organized daily intersite shuttles. And also took care of each site management of intern flows (E/S/MES/Distribution/Inventory). As well as the transport management (ImportExport/Customs, DGR, Voluminous, and AOG 24/365).

Schenker Aeroparts being in charge of the whole monitoring of this sub-contracted body.

It also strengthens the long term and successful partnership between SCHENKERaeroparts as a key aerospace logistic provider for EADS.
